About Us
Cancer and other complex diseases continue to place an enormous burden on patients and healthcare systems worldwide. While current diagnostic pathways and screening programmes have improved outcomes in many settings, they often remain limited by late-stage detection, invasive procedures, exposure to radiation or chemical reagents, reduced sensitivity in certain patient groups, and high rates of unnecessary follow-up investigations. These challenges highlight the growing need for accessible, rapid, and truly non-invasive diagnostic technologies capable of supporting earlier and more personalised clinical decision-making.
At VibraSpeX, we are redefining disease detection through intelligent laser spectroscopy. Our proprietary platform integrates advanced vibrational laser spectroscopy with machine learning–driven spectral analysis to enable truly non-invasive analysis — free from harmful radiation and chemical reagents — of biofluids such as blood plasma and serum, supporting personalised and early detection of cancer and other diseases.
VibraSpeX, a new era in Personalised Cancer Screening
Journal of Biophotonics 25 November 2024 https://doi.org/10.1002/jbio.202400427
Our team is currently developing highly accurate liquid biopsy tests to detect cancers at their earliest, most treatable stages and to identify their molecular subtypes with high precision — without the need for prior tissue biopsy. In our recent proof-of-concept study, the test demonstrated over 90% diagnostic accuracy and reliably distinguished between subtypes such as luminal A/B, HER2-enriched, and triple-negative breast cancer.
Together with our clinical partners in the UK, Europe, and the US, we are now preparing for the clinical validation of this technology to bring it closer to real-world application.
